Two teenagers are dead after a tragic drowning incident in Derry.
Emergency services were tasked to a report of a "number of people in difficulty" at Lough Enagh yesterday evening.
Two 16 year old boys who were pulled from the water, were pronounced dead.
Another boy was taken to hospital while a further three have been left in shock, but are uninjured.
Local councillor Ciara Ferguson says her thoughts are with the loved ones of everyone involved:
"These young boys had a bright future ahead of them and only days from going back to school, I cannot begin to imagine the heart break felt by their families today."
