Ukrainian refugees, who are currently living in college accommodation, will be moved off-campus before the academic year begins.
That's according to the Higher Education Minister, who says the Department of Integration is working to relocate refugees and leave rooms available for incoming students.
Minister Simon Harris says third level accommodation isn't appropriate for fleeing families on a long term basis:
"I think it is important that student accommodation is for students. It's very important that families and children can live in an environment that is appropriate to them. I know, and we all know, that this challenge isn't easy. It's something that we're morally bound to accept. It's not acceptable that you'd have a child in a student accommodation facility".
