Met Eireann has issued three weather warnings for tomorrow morning.
A status orange wind warning is in place for Cork from 5am until 10am.
Cork city and county councils say the heavy rain will lead to surface and river flooding and they're advising people in low lying streets to take the usual precautions
Some coastal flooding is also possible, due to the combination of low pressure, high tides and onshore winds.
Property owners, residents and visitors are advised to prepare for this dangerous weather event, to protect property, to avoid unnecessary journeys and stay indoors during the warning periods.
