People aged 18-49 can get a COVID-19 booster shot at a walk-in clinic this Bank Holiday weekend.
Clinics are available nationwide in 34 locations with at least one in each county.
In Cork, clinics are open at the North Main Street Vaccination centre, the Bantry Vaccination Centre and Skibbereen CVC.
Eileen Whelan, National Lead, COVID-19 Vaccination Programme with the HSE is encouraging everyone who is due their next dose of booster vaccine to get it as soon as possible.
"Anybody who presents for a vaccine over the weekend will be getting the bivalent booster, and it's really important to keep up to date with your boosters and to protect your immunity.
"The vaccines are our best offer of protection, they ensure that we stay healthy and well, and a lot of people are focussed on good health and well being from January onwards."
Meanwhile nearly 20 million new cases of Covid-19 were recorded worldwide, between January 2nd and 29th.
That's a decrease of 78% compared to the previous 28 days.
114,000 deaths were also reported during that period - bringing the global death toll to 6 point 8 million.
