Independent Deputy Verona Murphy thinks the Government needs to take action to help motorists:
"There is lots they can do, they may not according to EU regulations, be able to reduce VAT further, but they can remove the said nora levy, they can remove excise duties. They can take them all away as a temporary emergency measure, which would safeguard the country's economy and protect the most marginalized their nurse and helped keep them in their jobs."
