Wholesale electricity prices increased by 91 per cent in the year to June.
Figures from the CSO show significant price rises for several food categories, with dairy products up almost 50 per cent, and meat and meat products up 15 per cent.
Prices for wholesale construction products increased by 18.5 per cent in the 12 months to June, and by 2.4 per cent in the month.
