Israel is continuing to expand its ground offensive into Palestinian refugee camps in central Gaza, as it warns the war with Hamas will last for months.
Gaza's Health Ministry says at least 20 people were killed and many more injured in a deadly Israeli army attack near El Amal City Hospital in Khan Younis.
Speaking to Aljazeera international human rights lawyer Toby Cadman said there is no justification for the bombing of civilian areas:
"The fact that the Israeli authorities repeatedly state that they give sufficient notice to civilians so that they can leave is still no justification for devastating civilian areas. And it's all worrying when we see, certainly, civilians being moved from one area to another and then that area then subsequently being attacked".
