A last ditch effort to find a new postmaster for an east Cork village has been made - over fears the post office could close at the end of the month.
An Post has already advertised the vacancy in Crosshaven twice and canvassed local businesses - but to no avail.
The current postmaster, Sarah McGrath's last day is the 31st of December.
Locals say losing the post office would be a major blow.
