Any hopes of restoring power-sharing at Stormont before Christmas look to be shattered.
A DUP source has again indicated negotiations aren't complete.
It comes as more party talks are due to get underway shortly at Hillsborough Castle - about a financial offer from the UK Government to support the return of devolved government.
With Westminster in recess for Christmas tomorrow, any chances to do a deal before then were always unlikely.
In a DUP Party email sent out on Saturday, Jeffrey Donaldson once again said he would not be calendar led.
The DUP's MLAs are understood not to be having their usual Monday meeting today.
