Ibec is warning businesses in the "experience economy", which consists of workers in the hospitality and supply chain industries, is at major risk of closure, unless something is done.

A new report from the representative group found 1 in 4 workers are less confident about the state of the economy than they were in April.

Sharon Higgins, of Ibec, outlines what she would like to see to allay the fears of these businesses:

"The area that we would really have liked to have seen more work done, and we're certainly going to continue campaigning on, is on the need to have a PSRI rebate for the most exposed companies who are most impacted by the labor costs, and it should be very targeted for those companies."
