Tenants of a City Council housing complex say they wouldn’t wish their soul destroying and depressing living situation on anyone else.

Some residents of Noonan Road who were living in mould, damp and rat infested homes have been moved by the City Council.

There are still residents living in the complex who say they cannot take their living conditions any longer.

Secretary of the Noonan Road Residents Association Jacqueline Ashbourne says she’s had enough of living in her home:

"I wouldn't wish my situation on anyone else, it's soul destroying and depressing, when you get to my age you expect to be comfortable but not to be, maybe one day."
