John has called to tell us about an incident at 7pm Sunday evening when an elderly man fell off a footpath on the Grange road and required an ambulance. He was unconscious and bleeding. John had to leave at 8.15pm but was told the ambulance might take up to two hours as it had to be dispatched from Dungarvan. He said it was a disgrace. He feels sorry for ambulance personnel who have to wait in the hallways of CUH A & E for hours until their patients are admitted. Huge rats spotted on Morrisons Island, Cork in the last few days. Emma called to say rats are not all bad. Here she is with her pet 'Missus'. We're speaking to Delia from Delia's Kitchen. She says there is free parking in the city from 10-12 and the carparks are empty!
