An oil company has apologised to its neighbours in East Cork after a gas oil spill in the area.
Irving Oil says recovery efforts are underway after the release of gas oil at its Whitegate refinery on Monday.
According to a report in the Echo, the company are working on all impacted areas around the refinery.
