Ireland's Rhasidat Adeleke was just outside the medals at the World Championships in Budapest last night.
The Dubliner finished fourth in the 400 metres final, in a time of 50.13, just half a second behind third place Sada Williams.
Gold went to Marileidy Paulino, with Natalia Kaczmarek taking silver.
It would have been Ireland's first medal on the track at a World Championships since 1995
Speaking to Virgin Media afterwards Adeleke says it's been a long season, but she's proud of what she's achieved.
"It's been a long season, I've done so many races. To come out here after since the start of January, I'm just happy because I was competing against the pros, who had only been competing since May."

Also last night Sarah Lavin broke Derval O'Rourke's Irish record in the 100 metre hurdles.
The Limerick sprinter finished fifth in her semi final, taking three hundredths of a second of O'Rourke's record, which had stood for 13 years.
Later on this evening Mark English goes in the semi finals of the 800 metres just before ten past nine.
Brian Fay goes in the men's 5,000 metres at 6pm
Brendan Boyce meanwhile is currently in action in the 35k Walk.
