Parents of children at a special school in Cork are vowing to keep the pressure on the decision makers in order to secure the return of therapists for their children
St Killian's in Mayfield is the largest special school in Munster with 104 students however it was left out of a pilot programme to restore therapists to special schools.
Parents say their children rely on these therapies and should be included in the programme and are now rallying local TD's to work together to help find a solution
Eibhlin Gleeson of St Killian's Parents Unite told RedFM News they will not give up until therapists are restored at the school
"We are not going to go away. This is something we will continue to work on until it sorted. We're going to work with politicians now to make sure that they understand why this is important and that they're doing their work in advocating for us at government level. It's really, really important that the pressure is kept on the decision makers in relation to this whoever they are"
