Parts of Cork, Dublin and Limerick have been named among the most littered places in the country.
The latest Irish Business Against Litter report puts Cork Northside and Mahon near the bottom of the table in 35th and 36th respectively
Cork City Centre has improved to ‘moderately littered’ from ‘littered’ in 2022.
Meanwhile, Mallow in Cork, Maynooth in Kildare and Sligo Town were found to be the cleanest of 40 towns and cities nationwide.
