People who are certified as medically unfit to drive are to be included in the free travel scheme.
Social Protection Minster Heather Humphreys announced the move when marking International Epilepsy Day today.
From July, the State's Free Travel Scheme will extend to those who've been certified as not fit to drive for a period of 12 months or more.
