A number of new measures are to be introduced at Munster Technological University in Bishopstown to address issues raised by students following a walk out at the facility last month
Students were demanding better parking facilities, improved public transport links and more accomodation options near the campus
Hundreds walked out of classes at the end of last month to protest for better facilities and for their voices to be heard
At the time the college confirmed that they were working on a number of new measures to address students concerns and have now confirmed that a pilot park and ride service will be introduced in the New Year along with the suspension of clamping
Other measures include the early opening of the canteen and the extension of the library opening hours
