There has been an eleven-fold increase in passenger numbers at the country’s five main airports in the first three months of this year.
CSO figures show 4.7 million people passed through Dublin, Shannon, Cork, Knock and Kerry between January and March.
However the level’s still 21 percent down compared to pre-pandemic.
