40% of parents prefer their children to have a ‘practical job’

Parents say they’d rather their children opted for a practical job.

4 in 10 say they’d be happier if their children chose a trade rather than an office job, so they’ve always got someone to help around the house.

The Irish Daily Star reports 51% say they themselves regret not pursuing a more practical career.

While 56% say they wish their career choice could have made more of a difference in people’s lives.
