41 Migrants Die In Shipwreck Off Italian Island Of Lampedusa

Forty-one migrants have died in a shipwreck off the Italian island of Lampedusa.

A group of four people who survived the disaster told rescuers they had set off from Tunisia on a boat that sank on its way to Italy.

The survivors – three men and a woman – said they were on a boat carrying 45 people, including three children.
