44 emails detailing former Chief Medical Officer Tony Holohan’s secondment will not be released as they’re not in the public interest.
That’s according to a senior official from the Department of Health.
The Irish Independent says the emails show that Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly was not copied in for over a month.
Holohan declined the secondment and left public service after major public outcry.
