5 must do activities for when restrictions ease on the 26th of April
From April 26th we’ll see some of Corks great outdoor places welcome people back.
1. Oysterhaven Activity Centre
Ireland’s premium watersports and activity centre, is located just 5 miles outside Kinsale. They will open from the May Bank Holiday weekend for Kit Hire, Family Fun, and Private Lessons.
You can even rent stand-up paddle boards which sounds like great fun!
2. Ballyhass Aquapark
Munster’s largest and most exciting inflatable water parks. Covering over 40m squared of an old quarry lake in Mallow and the same in Lee Valley Harbour on the Innisscarra Dam in Coachford Co.Cork. You and your friends can, jump, slide, bounce and race each other around the wipeout style courses. They will be reopening on the 26th of April for Kayak tours, open water swimming,and even warrior day camps.
3. FootGolf, Cork
FootGolf Cork is situated on the outskirts of Kinsale in Co.Cork, FootGolf Cork is the first and only purpose built FootGolf course in the South of Ireland. FootGolf is a game that blends football and golf into one great sport. You can play FootGolf as well as HurlGolf both of which are great fun for all the family.
4. Smugglers Cove
Fun for all the family attraction in Rosscarbery with Adventure Golf, Mazes and a Golf Range. They are also set to launch the country’s first ever tubing park. The park will include four runs of varying length and gradient, including two straight fast runs, a parabolic turn and “the fast steep Tubby jump into a massive freestyle ski bag”.
5. Waterfall Alpaca Farm
West Corks adorable Alpaca Farm near Drimoleague is a must visit this summer where you can visit the Alpacas and even take them for a hike. The walk runs along a beautiful river past pools and cascades, under old Oak and Holly trees and past the spectacular waterfall that gave the farm its name, it is gorgeous at any time of year but especially beautiful when the bluebells are out. They also have rescued rabbits from dwarf to giant, 2 miniature donkeys, 2 Shetland ponies, hens, and cats & dogs.
