85 patients without beds in Cork hospitals this morning

63 people are waiting for a bed at Cork University Hospital this morning.

It’s the second most overcrowded Emergency Department in the country after University Hospital Limerick where 74 people are waiting for a bed.

According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation, there are also 16 patients without a bed at the Mercy Hospital and 6 at Bantry General Hospital.
