A month-long state of emergency’s been declared in Haiti following a devastating earthquake
At least 300 people have died, while more than 18-hundred others have been injured.
The 7-point-2 magnitude quake has destroyed schools, hospitals and homes across the country just over a month after the assassination of its president.
Skyler Badenoch, the chief executive of Help for Haiti, says the nation is heading for a humanitarian crisis:
“What’s unfolding right before our eyes, very concerned, it was, it’s been a very difficult, two, two and a half years for the people of Haiti because of political unrest because of COVID, and now this.”
