AA head reveals hiding place for his car fob

The head of the AA in the UK has revealed he keeps his keyless car fob inside a metal box in his microwave.

Edmund King decided to increase security measures after hackers stole his wife’s car.

He told The Telegraph that the car was taken despite the fob being stored in a wire-mesh pouch and away from the front door.

Keyless cars are reported to be more vulnerable to theft, as their fobs constantly emit a signal which searches for the car to unlock it.
