Afghan Woman Living In Ireland Say Members Of Her Family Back Home Are Living In Fear
It comes after the Taliban took control of another three major cities in the past 24 hours.
The group is now estimated to have control of more than two-thirds of the country.
Sharifa Wasie, who lives in Dublin, says it is a worrying time:
“If anyone is depressed about the situation. They’re afraid. My family is working for the government – every one of them. The girls are teachers and the boys are engineers or architects or working with business. They’re all afraid because they worked all their life for the government, and now there’s someone come coming who is hunting people who are working for the government.”
