Alone Calls On Government To Increase State Pension By Minimum Of €20/Week In Budget 2023

Alone is calling on the Government to increase the State Pension by a minimum of 20 euro a week in Budget 2023.
It has made its pre-budget submission, stating fears that older people are at risk of going cold and hungry this winter.
It also wants the Fuel Allowance Scheme topped up by 20 euro per week, to deal with rising energy costs.
