Animal Rights Campaigners Say Deaths Of Three Horses At Aintree Racing Festival Prove Their Actions Were justified At Yesterday’s Grand National

Animal rights campaigners say the deaths of three horses at this week’s Aintree racing festival prove their actions were justified at yesterday’s Grand National.

10-year old ‘Hill Sixteen’ died in the National, after falling at the first fence.

Another horse, ‘Dark Raven’ died after racing earlier in the day, and ‘Special Envoy’ died on Thursday, on the first day of the festival.

Yesterday, Police arrested 118 people at Aintree, after demonstrators delayed the start of the ‘National’, by gluing themselves to the jumps.
