Antonio Becomes Hammers Prem Top Scorer

Michail Antonio last night became West Ham’s all-time top scorer in the Premier League.

He scored twice as the Hammers beat ten-man Leicester 4-1 at the London Stadium, Pablo Fornals and Said Benrahma also getting on the scoresheet. Youri Tielemans netted Leicester’s only goal.

Ayoze Perez saw red for the foxes for a reckless challenge before halftime.

Antonio has now scored 49 top flight goals for West Ham, two more than Paolo di Canio.

Hammers boss David Moyes says his focus is on getting his team to continue playing as they are.

They top the early Premier League table after the in front of a capacity crowd at the London Stadium.

Moyes says they need to move on from what they achieved last season.
