Apple chief executive Tim Cook is to take a pay cut of more than 40 per cent this year.
His basic salary and bonus – worth around 9 million dollars – will remain the same, but his share awards will be restricted.
His compensation will depend on the company’s performance, after some shareholders complained about the tech giant’s recent supply chain issues.
