At Least 14 People Die And 24 Prisoners Escape In Attack On Mexican Prison

At least 14 people have died, and 24 prisoners have escaped, following an attack on a prison in Mexico.

It happened yesterday evening in the city of Juarez, when gunmen in armoured vehicles pulled up and opened fire on security personnel.

The city is just across the US-Mexico border and is one of Mexico’s deadliest cities, and an epicentre of drug cartel violence.
