Australia’s reached a 474-million pound settlement with France over a scrapped submarine deal.
Last year, officials in Canberra cancelled a multi-billion-dollar order for the technology with a French military shipyard in favour of an alternative agreement with the US and UK.
The new government hopes this’ll repair the rift between them and Paris.
