Australia to reopen borders to foreign travellers

Australia’s set out a plan to fully reopen its border to foreign travellers for the first time in nearly two years.

Visitors who’ve had their coronavirus jabs will be allowed to arrive from two weeks today.

The country’s banned most international arrivals ever since the pandemic began.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison says his country’s tourism industry is gearing up.

“The condition is, you must be double vaccinated to come to Australia.

“That’s the rule. Everyone is expected to abide by it.”
