Authorities In New Zealand Say They Had No Reason To Believe Man In Supermarket Attack Was Planning The Assault
Authorities in New Zealand say they had no reason to believe a man, who stabbed six people in a supermarket this morning, was planning an attack.
Police had been following him – and shot him dead within 60 seconds of his assault getting underway.
The country’s prime minister, Jacinda Ardern, says what he did was ‘despicable’.
Three of the victims are in a critical condition.
Laleia Clark was there when it happened.
