Businesses Need Additional Supports To Survive Pandemic Say CBA

Cork Business Association say some businesses may find it very difficult to survive the pandemic without additional supports.

The group are calling on the government to provide as much financial support as possible to the sectors impacted by restrictions such as early closing hours.

Several pubs and restaurants in the city have closed for the month of January as operating with reduced opening hours would have made their business unviable…

While others have been forced to temporarily close for a few days or weeks due to staff contracting Covid or being identified as close contacts.

Speaking to RedFM News, President of Cork Business Association Eoin O’Sullivan says some businesses will need help to clear debts built up over the past two years.
