CAB probe will lead to sale of Cork property

A probe conducted by the Criminal Assets Bureau will lead to the sale of a property in Cork which was linked to the proceeds of crime

CAB’s annual report shows that an investigation was conducted into the assets of a UK-based person who was suspected of being a member of an organised crime group involved in the operation of cannabis growhouses in Cork and Tipperary.

The Echo reports that the bureau’s investigation resulted in the granting of an order on residential properties in Cork, Tipperay and Dublin along with nearly €44,000 held in a financial account
