Call On Government To Intervene To Tackle Assaults On Healthcare Staff

There’s a call on Government to intervene to tackle assaults on healthcare staff.

The call from the INMO comes as 63 per cent of all assaults recorded in the health services are carried out on nurses and midwives.

It also wants the Health and Safety Authority to have strengthened powers.
