Childline Ramps Up Services To Meet Demand Of Young People Worrying About Upcoming Exam Season

Childline says it’s ramped up its services to meet the demand of young people worrying about the upcoming exam season.

The charity’s asking parents not to put too much pressure on their children to achieve certain grades.

Teacher Dave Lee-Allan says there needs to be an overhaul how children are assessed:

“That single exam defining that young person was, and always has been, a horrendously Victorian and unimaginative way of trying to assess the ability of a young person”.
