Cork Airport has saved nearly 4 million euro in energy costs in the ten years from 2009 to 2019

That’s according to climate technology company Action Zero, which is partnered with the airport.
It says carbon emissions at the facility have plummeted by 56 percent in that time.
Action Zero claims this is the same as taking 800 cars off the road for one year.
