Cork County Council appeal for unoccupied properties for Ukrainian people
Last updated on
People with unoccupied properties can make €800 a month if they offer them as temporary homes for Ukrainian people
That’s according to Cork County Council who are appealing to people with houses, apartments, or holiday homes to make them available to those fleeing the war.
More than 60,000 people have arrived into Ireland from Ukraine seeking safety and the council say the vast majority need accommodation.
Property owners can offer homes at OfferAHome.ie or by contacting Cork County Council.
