Cork team to face Waterford named

The Cork team to face Waterford in the Rebels’ Munster Championship opener has been named.

Robert Downey replaces his brother Eoin at Full back, with Eoin serving a suspension from the loss to Kilkenny in the league semi final

Patrick Horgan starts in what will be his 72nd championship appearance, while Shane Kingston is named on the bench as the Douglas after a recent injury concern.

Tommy O’Connell and Brian Roche will make their championship debuts, while nine of the team that started the defeat to Galway in last year’s All Ireland Quarter final have been named in the 15.
