Cost of Living Coalition plan major protest ahead of Budget 2023
The Cost of Living Coalition has announced details of a major pre budget protest to ‘send a message’ to Ministers this weekend.
Over 30 organisations and political parties are involved in the demonstration which takes place in Dublin on Saturday afternoon with organisers are calling for ‘water charges-like’ attendances.
At the weekend, up to 3,000 people gathered on Grand Parade and marched through the city centre to highlight what they say is, the government’s lack of action in tackling the rising cost of living.
The high cost of energy and the huge profits of the ESB were two of the main points raised by people taking part in Saturday’s protest.
