Countdown On To Today’s All Ireland Hurling Final Between Cork And Limerick
The rebels take on the treaty county at 3:30pm in front of a crowd of 40,000 people at Croke Park.
Cork haven’t lifted the Liam McCarthy Cup since 2005 when they beat Galway, while Limerick are the current champions.
It’s expected to be a tense and fast paced game and RedFM’s Colm O’Sullivan will be broadcasting from the Big Red Bus close to Croke Park throughout the day.
These Listeners told RedFM News that they can’t wait for the game to start:
“Cork boys will be up there in their numbers. Croke Park will be mostly red. So hopefully we’ll use that to our advantage, you know that kind of way. If you’ve any tickets going, send them our way please.”
“It’s massive for the city. You can see all the bunting and flags around the place. Everyone’s been picked up by it, by Cork getting to the final. I know the Under-21s won, the Minors as well. So it really would be great if the Seniors could get over the line as well.”
“I can’t wait. There’ll be great buzz around the place, in the city and all the pubs and everything. Just looking forward to the atmosphere.”
