County Council Warning Road Conditions Across All Of Cork Currently Treacherous Due To Black Ice

The County Council are warning listeners that road conditions across all of Cork are currently treacherous.
They say black ice has developed on many roads and surfaces – because of fluctuating and dropping temperatures following overnight rainfall – in the period between salting runs.
The worst affected areas include Nadd, Newmarket, Ballydesmond, Rockchapel, Kanturk, Banteer, & Millstreet , but many other areas of the county are also affected.
They are advising motorists to exercise extreme caution.
