CUH Asking Public Not To Attend Emergency Department Unless Absolutely Necessary

Cork University Hospital is asking the public only to attend the Emergency Department if absolutely necessary because of a surge in ED presentations.
Management at CUH say the public should explore “all other options available to them” prior to attending A&E, such as their GP, South Doc, St. Mary’s Health Campus, and the Local Injuries Units in Bantry and Mallow.
