CUMH says they’ve taken steps to ensure safety of all patients

Cork University Maternity Hospital say they have taken steps to ensure the safety of all patients following the death of Marie Downey and her newborn baby Darragh.

The mother and baby died after Marie suffered a suspected epileptic seizure at the hospital on the 25th of March 2019.
