DAA Say Bank Holiday Weekend Was a Success

The Dublin Airport Authority says the management of departing passengers over the bank holiday weekend was a success.

Close on 200,000 people passed through Dublin Airport between Thursday and last night.

Fears had been expressed that the long queues that dogged departures last weekend would be repeated again.

DAA spokesperson Graeme McQueen says passenger movement went as good as could be expected.
