Depaul to take over management of SVP homeless service in Cork city
Depaul and the Society of St. Vincent de Paul have reached an agreement for Depaul to take over the management of the SVP homeless service in Cork city.
Today marked the handover of St Vincent’s and Deerpark House, which have a total of 124 places for homeless *men between them.
DePaul CEO David Carroll said as well as services in Cork, DePaul and SVP are also merging services in other counties.
Five other centres in Ireland are being transferred as well in Carlow, Waterford and Wexford and Longford as well. So it marks a, I suppose a significant change and services throughout the country.”
