Djokovic Calls Wimbledon Ban On Russian and Belarusian Players “Crazy”

World tennis number one Novak Djokovic has called Wimbledon’s decision to ban Russian and Belarusian players “crazy”.

The Grand Slam has become the first tournament to prevent individuals competing from the two countries following the war in Ukraine.

Djokovic has joined the ATP and WTA in criticising the All-England club saying “when politics interferes with sport, the result is not good.”
